COURSE DETAILS
DAY 1 (Apr 20)
Lectures covering the work of the HIRF committees, environmental definition and coupling routes to compliance, hazard analysis,
qualification testing, and manufacturers’ experience. Lecture on aircraft HIRF test techniques.
DAY 2 (Apr 21)
Practical demonstrations of HIRF measurements on avionic equipments.
DAY 3 (Apr 22)
Lectures covering data processing, design, hardening and maintenance.
DAY 4 (Apr 23)
Lectures dealing with the direct and indirect effects of lightning covering protection, testing and certification requirements.
The course will end with a presentation of a full aircraft test.
